Jay Bhanushali (born 25 December 1984) is an Indian television actor best known for his portrayal as Neev Shergill in Ekta Kapoor's Indian soap opera Kayamath that aired on Star Plus. Bhanushali debuted in TV with the show Dhoom Machaao Dhoom where he played the role of Varun Bhaskar, but his biggest break came when he was selected by Ekta Kapoor to play the character of protagonist Neev Shergill in her soap opera Kayamath. The role not only earned him praises but also won him several awards for his performance in the show. Bhanushali gone on to win Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face - Male, Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and various other awards for his performance. In 2009, Bhanushali did anchoring Dance India Dance and participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 which marked his debut in reality shows. He won appreciated from several quarters for anchoring the show Dance India Dance for his anchoring skills and comic timings. Bhanushali received Boroplus Gold Award for Best Anchor (2010 & 2012), Zee Rishtey Award for Favorite Host (2009, 2010 & 2011) and several other accolades as host of Dance India Dance. He went on to anchoring several seasons of Dance India Dance. In 2012-13, Jay and his wife Mahii participated in and won the dance competition show Nach Baliye 5. Bhanushali made his Hindi movie debut in 2014 with Hate Story 2 where he played the role of Akshay Bedi.
Jay Bhanushali does not have any previous connections with Bollywood or star kid status but his net worth is $10 million. Which is higher than some star kids. He started his career as a minor role actor, after so much hard work he got a chance in big films as a lead role.
