John Abraham (born on 17 December 1972) is an Indian film actor, film producer and former model who appears in Hindi films. After modeling for numerous advertisements and companies, he made his film debut with Jism (2003), which earned him a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination. This was followed by his first commercial hit success movie, Dhoom (2004). John received two Filmfare Award nominations, for his negative roles in Dhoom, and in Zinda (2006). He later seen in the major critical success Water (2005). John also nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Baabul (2006). Since then, John has starred in many critically and commercially successful films including Garam Masala (2005), Dostana (2008), Taxi No. 9211 (2006), New York (2009), Force (2011), Housefull 2 (2012), Race 2 (2013), Shootout at Wadala (2013), Madras Cafe (2013), Welcome Back (2015), Dishoom (2016), Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018), Batla House (2019) and  Satyameva Jayate (2018), thus establishing himself as a commercially successful actor of Hindi cinema.

In 2012, John produced his 1st movie Vicky Donor, which was a critical and commercial success, and earned him a National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He then started his own production house, John Abraham Entertainment. His second movie as a producer was Madras Cafe, which garnered critical acclaim. Beyond his movie acting career, he is the owner of the Indian Super League football team NorthEast United FC. He has often performed many dangerous stunts in his films. He is also a vegetarian, and is a strong advocate for animal rights.

John Abraham does not have any previous connections with Bollywood or star kid status but his net worth is $10 million. Which is higher than some star kids. He started his career as a minor role actor, after so much hard work he got a chance in big films as a lead role.

Affairs: Like many other actors, he also involved in affairs controversy. There are so many controversies that he dated Riya Sen (Actress), Bipasha Basu (Actress, 2004-2012) and Priya Runchal (Banker)(Now Wife).
Kissing Sugandha Mishra: After Sugandha Mishra's performance in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, John goes up on stage and kissed Sugandha Mishra. Which her family not liked and showed hate. Later John came back on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show and apologized for his behaviors.
Fight with Fan: He always was a cool person. But in trailer launch of  "Force 2", he slapped his fan for forcing him to get a selfie.
Sudden disappear from Bollywood: He was suddenly disappeared from Bollywood for some time. Maybe this is because his nine-year relation break up with Bipasha Basu and maybe because of so many flops.
Parmanu controversy: At the time Permanu release John got into a legal battle with producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment over delay in payments. Akshay has suggested John for work with Prernaa Arora. People and fans started showing hate on Akshay for not helping John. But John cleared that he don't want to involve Akshay in the matter. Also, he said he not going to work again with Prernaa Arora.
Clash of Batla House and Mission Mangal: Akshay and John are of good friends. But their movie Batla House and Mission Mangal were released in the same time period. But both actors cleared this will not affect their friendship.
