Rajat Barmecha (born on 24 April 1989, Ladnun, India), is an Indian film actor. His father is a businessman we don't have more details about his mother and father. He is having one brother Vicky Barmecha, and one sister Ritu Barmecha. Vicky is older then Rajat. Vicky Barmecha is an actor and movie director. Vicky Barmecha written, directed movies like My Sister's Birthday, and acted in movies like Bombay Velvet (2015) as the role of "Sleazy Navy Officer". His sister Ritu Barmecha is an actress. Ritu acted in Telugu movies like Aha Naa Pellanta (2011), Vasool Raja (2012), and Action 3D (2013). She acted with Telugu actor Allari Naresh in Aha Naa Pellanta and Action 3D. Ritu also acted in Zindagi channel TV serial Agar Tum Saath Ho (2016) as the lead role of Neema. Rajat debuted to Bollywood with the Udaan movie in 2010. Udaan was a flop in the box office but appreciated by critics. For his best acting in Udaan, he nominated for "Filmfare Best Male Debut" and "Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Male". He acted with actor Ronit Roy in the Udaan movie. Udaan was a family drama movie that revolves around a boy struggle for making decisions in his life because of his angry father. He belongs to the Hindu family and follows Hinduism as his religion. He pursued school from Bal Bharati Public School, Delhi. He has completed his graduation during working in movies.

Apart from the movie Rajat also worked on TV shows, short films, and web series. He worked in web series like Disco Valley (2012), Girl In The City (2016), Girl In The City (Chapter 2) (2017), Love, Lust and Confusion (2018), Girl In The City 3 (2018), and Hey Prabhu (2019). He is also acting in web series Hey Prabhu 2 which going to release in 2020. He also acted in short films like Gulmohar (2011) and The Finish Line (2011). His short film The Finish Line won a National Award(Short Film).

He acted in movies like Warrior Savitri (2016), Desi Boyz (2011), Shaitan (2011), and Udaan (2010). His acting in movies like Shaitan and Warrior Savitri was very much appreciated. He has seen in a cameo role in the Shaitan movie. Despite his all four movies are a flop in the box office still he gain attention and appreciation for his best acting. Rajat has the dream of becoming an actor from childhood. His father helped him to achieve his dreams. Despite of his fabulous acting in Shaitan and Udaan, still he is struggling for getting work movies. He not acted in any movies after the 2016 movie Warrior Savitri. We hoping and wishing him for a big comeback in Bollywood.
