Vidyut Jammwal (born on 10 December 1980, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India), is an Indian film actor and martial artist. His mother's name is Vimla Jamwal she is former Miss Jammu and Kashmir and his father's name details we don't have but unfortunately, he has died in Vidyut childhood. He is born in the Hindu Rajput family. He completed his studies from Ashram in Palakkad, Kerala, and Army Public School, Dagshai, Himachal Pradesh. He made Bollywood debut with the 2011 movie Force. Force was Flop in box office but appreciated by critics. Vidyut Jammwal acting in Force was very much loved and appreciated. In Force, Vidyut acted along with actors like John Abraham and Genelia DSouza. In this Vidyut played the role of Vishnu Reddy a negative villain character. This movie gave Vidyut a big fam and fans. For Vidyut's best performance in Force movie, he won Stardust Awards for "Breakthrough Performance Male", FICCI Frames Awards for "Best Debut Male", Filmfare Awards for "Best Debut Male", IIFA Award "Star Debut of the Year – Male". Force was a crime action drama movie, which revolves around a villain and police chase. With his hard work, Vidyut achieved great body and martial arts skills. Vidyut is one of the actors who came to the lead actor position without having a Bollywood background. Vidyut is mainly known for his best acting and amazing stunts. Vidyut also worked in Music albums like "Tumhe Dillagi by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in 2016 and "Gal Ban Gayi" by Neha Kakkar, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meet Bros, and Sukhbir in 2016. In Tumhe Dillagi song video Vidyut worked with actress Huma Qureshi and in Gal Ban Gayi he worked along with actress Urvashi Rautela.

Vidyut worked in movies like Force (2011), Stanley Ka Dabba(2011), Bullett Raja(2013), Commando (2013), Baadshaho(2017), Commando 2(2017), Junglee (2019), Commando 3(2019), Yaara (2020) and Khuda Haafiz(2020). Apart from working in Bollywood Hindi movies Vidyut also worked in Telugu and Tamil movies. He worked in Telugu movies like Shakti (2011), Oosaravelli (2011) in both movies Vidyut came as a negative villain character. In both of these Telugu movies Vidyut acted along with Tollywood superstar Jr. NTR. He worked in Tamil movies like Billa II (2012), Thuppakki (2012), and Anjaan(2013). In these three movies, Vidyut came as a negative villain character. In Billa II he acted along with actor Ajith Kumar, in Thuppakki he acted along with actor Vijay, and in Anjaan he acted with the actor Suriya. He made Telugu movies debut with Shakti in 2011 and in Tamil movies with Billa II in 2012. For his great work in Thuppakki movie, he won SIIMA Awards for "Best Actor in a Negative Role". His three-movie franchise Commando, Commando 2, and Commando 3 were very much appreciated. In this three movies, he acted as a character of a commando who joins mission to save the nation. His acting and stunts were very much loved by the audience. For his work in Commando, he won Zee Cine Awards for "Umeed Ka Naya Chehra - Male". His recent movie Junglee was a masterpiece where Vidyut tries to rescue an elephant from hunter smugglers. For his performance in Junglee movie, Vidyut won Jackie Chan Action Movie Awards for "Best Action Sequence Choreographer". Vidyut stunts in this movie are very amazing!

Vidyut is going to work in the next movie Khuda Haafiz, which is going to release in 2020 on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar due to corona pandemics. Khuda Haafiz is an action drama movie which is based on real incidence. In this movie, he is acting along with stars like Shivaleeka Oberoi and Annu Kapoor. He also going to act in Yaara movie which has star Shruti Haasan. Yaara is going to release in 2020. Yaara is a friendship drama movie.
