Arshad Warsi (born 19 April 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India) is an Indian actor, playback singer, TV presenter, producer, and choreographer. He is the son of musician, singer, and poet Late Ahmed Ali Khan. He is having one stepbrother Anwar Hussain who is a singer and one step-sister Asha Sachdev who is an actress. Arshad married Maria Goretti in 1999 and they having one son Zeke and daughter Zene Zoe. Arshad's wife Maria and son Zeke made a special appearance in Salaam Namaste movie. Arshad debuted to Bollywood with Tere Mere Sapne in 1996. Tere Mere Sapne is a love story movie in which Arshad worked with Chandrachur Singh, Priya Gill, and Simran. In 1996 Arshad did the choreography for the movie Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja. Arshad has completed his schooling from boarding school Barnes School, in Deolali, Nashik district, Maharashtra. Arshad dropped school after the 10th standard due to financial issues. He was in an orphanage from the age of 14. At the age of 17 Arshad worked as a door-to-door cosmetics salesman. After that, he also worked in a photo lab. Then Arshad joined the dance group and he did the choreography for movies like Thikana (1987) and Kaash (1987). Arshad won different prizes for his dance. Then later during one dance contest, Arshad meets his current wife Maria Goretti. Arshad also worked in TV shows like Razzmatazz, Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny, Sabse Favourite Kaun, Bigg Boss, Zara Nachke Dikha, Ishaan, Comedy Nights with Kapil, and Asur. Arshad next going to work in movies like Rokda (2020), Munnabhai 3 (2020), Namune (2021), and Jeetenge Hum (2021).
