Kanhaiyalal (Born 1910 in Benares (Varanasi), Uttar Pradesh, British India - 14 August 1982) was an Indian film actor who acted in "One Hundred Five" films in his career, primarily worked in Bollywood films in the Mumbai-based film industry. Kanhaiyalal was born in 1910 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, British India. His father Pandit Bhairodutt Choube, also known as Choubeji, was the owner of the Sanatan Dharm Natak Samaj in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, British India. With his father not in agreement with him taking up any form of stage work, he eventually wore out his father's opposition and did odd jobs in the troupe. At age of sixteen, he begins writing and then moved on to small roles in movies. When his father Pandit Bhairodutt Choube died, the brothers tried for some time to run the Sanatan Dharm Natak Samaj. But they were unsuccessful in running this company, they closed the drama company and Kanhaiyalal decided to seek a film career in Bombay, India. His elder brother Sankata Prasad Chaturvedi had already established himself as an actor in silent Bollywood movies, but Kanhaiyalal came to films without the intention of acting, wanting to write and direct instead. Eventually capitulating, he started by working as an extra in Sagar Movietone's cop production company Sagar Ka Sher. He remained as the extra side role actor but his small roles were always loved and appreciated. Haathkadi as Raghuvir (1981) was his last acted film.
Kanhaiyalal Death Reason: Kanhaiyalal died on Fourteen August 1982 at the age of 72. (Death reason not known!)
