The Curse of Bridge Hollow (2022) Story in Short
The movie revolves around a family who relocated to a new village. But the family chosen home is haunted and by mistake, they somehow release the ghost which turns Halloween decorations alive. Will they survive with these decoration monsters?

The Curse of Bridge Hollow Movie Review

The movie has a routine storyline where during Halloween some old ghost makes a mess for the newly arrived family and others. The movie has a primary focus on comedy if you compare it with horror. Some comedy scenes worked for me and made me laugh. If you compare this movie with previous Halloween movies then you might feel this is not a routine Halloween movie that used to be primarily focused on horror slashers. This movie is more focused on making things funny. The movie also focuses on a family and their problems. But unfortunately, this family bonding and drama not made me feel a good connection with the characters. After knowing about the ghost the family starts investigating the story behind the ghost. But the investigation was kind very easy and predictable. I don't know why dad does not believe it's paranormal even after experiencing all paranormal activities. Also, I don't know why the movie tries to prove magic is real. The movie has some impressive scenes and my favorite one was the skeleton chopping with the chainsaw. The movie has good VFX and the monster looks real and impressive. I think all actors did good work. Specially Marlon Wayans made me laugh in several places. I saw Lauren Lapkus's work before in The Wrong Missy and as always she is perfect for comedy roles. I saw Priah Ferguson before in Stranger Things and she also did good work. The movie has a similar tone to Goosebumps. I think this movie is primarily made for kids so adults might not like it. If you wonder as a kid, you should watch this movie then I think don't expect it will be as good as Goosebumps but it might not disappoint you.

Positive Points Of The The Curse of Bridge Hollow Movie
1) Good acting work by all actors. 2) Several funny moments which made me laugh. 3) Good VFX work throughout the movie.

Negative Points Of The The Curse of Bridge Hollow Movie
1) Routine predictable storyline. I saw similar movies such as Goosebumps. 2) No good character representation which does not make a personal connection with characters. 3) Not that scary! 4) Very predictable ending.

My Experience Will Watching The Curse of Bridge Hollow Movie
I laughed at several places but being a Halloween horror slasher lover I was disappointed at some parts.
